There is a new trend on the rise for people to stay in the houses that they have bought for much longer than they used to in the past. This has come about by the great global downturn in economies. Instead of people climbing the property ladder slowly, now they tend to stay on one rung instead of buying up. To this end then, when they need more room they are looking to prefabricated homes to help them. Modular home prices are such that they can buy one, or even two, which not only gives them that much needed space it can also create a new income stream too.

The cost of these houses is anything from ten thousand dollars upwards. This makes it the ultimately affordable building in which anything can be done. A new business right from the back yard or even a holiday house set off in the woods somewhere. Both will bring in an income stream that is beneficial to the family so this is a worthwhile, yet low cost, investment which could lead to bigger and better things in future.

These wonderful little houses are built from materials in large sections. They can be ordered from stock, to designs which have floor plans which suit most people, or they can be adjusted to fit in with the needs of those who want them for a specific need. Either way, when they are ready for delivery, they are brought on the back of a truck in easy to put together sections which anyone can do within a few days. All the conduits and fittings can be put in too, with the manufacturers own team coming along to do the job if necessary. Some of these units are made with environmentally sound materials as well so no one needs to feel guilty about having something which is bad for the world in general.

The only thing that the buyer has to do is to make sure that the foundations are in place, with all the necessary points for waste, water and other systems which will be available in the house. This will be done to a plan that the manufacturer will supply so that it is ready for when the house arrives at the plot. Those who do not want to put down foundations can also opt for the floating floor system which does not require this kind of preparation in advance. Indeed, what most people do not realize is that these houses can be unbolted and taken down afterwards too so if a move is imminent, take the house along too!

These houses really allow for people to put together extra space but at low cost and it is helping many people today.
